Our vision is to be a church where Jesus Christ is at the centre of all that we do as we strive to be a beacon of hope in our community.
This can be summarised in our shortened vision statement:
Christ Centred Community
To help us achieve this vision we desire to be a church that puts the following values into action:
Celebrate
Romans 12:1
We desire to be a church that freely and openly worships God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – and all he has done and does do for us.Contemplate
Romans 12:2-3
We desire to be a church that seeks to develop our relationship with God, through prayer and inquiry, and how our faith relates to the issues which affect our lives.Collaborate
Romans 12:4-5
We desire to be a church where everyone is welcome and able to work together, as well as partnering with other organisations and groups.Communicate
Romans 12:6-8
We desire to be a church that seeks to share the love of God in attractive, accessible and appropriate ways, showing that faith is relevant for today.Compassionate
Romans 12:9-21
We desire to be a church that shows the love of God in practical ways, sharing and supporting our life together, in the wider community and the world. As a church we recognise that it is not good to walk alone but to collaborate with others on the journey.
