Hope08 Charity Funday
Sunday 8th June 2008 the churches in Southport are organising a Charity Funday for Hope08 in Princes Park (Along the seafront beside Ocean Plaza). The events are as follows:
12.30-12.50pm Thanksgiving Prayer service for the Charities being supported
1.30-5.00pm A large sponsored “It’s a Knockout” competition with 12 teams of 10 people competing to be the winners whilst raising money for 6 Southport charities. Team are drawn from companies in the town. There is also a ministers and youth pastors team as well. Come and watch the fun. Water and foam guarenteed!!
7pm A free live Christian band called “thebandwithnoname”
