Who We Are

We are a bunch of people of all-ages from all over Southport who have faith in Jesus Christ.  As a church we meet regularly for worship and to support one another and our community.

Our main celebration together is on a Sunday morning starting at 10:30am.  Tea and coffee is available when you arrive to help you feel at home and you can relax in our cafe area, so please feel free to come a bit earlier.  There are groups tailored to young and not-so-young people and we try to make sure that everyone is welcome, so just come as you are.  There's more tea and coffee afterwards too, along with the change to meet friends old and new.

We occasionally meet in the evenings for a time of prayer and reflection, starting at 6:30pm.  Please check the calendar or get in touch with us for further details.

Star-Seekers is the name of our all-age celebration where everyone stays together to celebrate, share and learn as one group.  These fun gatherings are on the first Sunday of the month.

Communion, (also called The Lord's Supper or Eucharist), where we use bread and grape juice to reflect on Jesus' sacrifice for us, is shared on the third Sunday of the month.  This is open to everyone who wishes to undertake this act of remembrance and commitment.

Our vision is to be a church where Jesus Christ is at the centre of all that we do as we strive to be a beacon of hope in our community.

This can be summarised in our shortened vision statement:

Christ Centred Community

To help us achieve this vision we desire to be a church that puts the following values into action:

Romans 12:1
We desire to be a church that freely and openly worships God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit – and all he has done and does do for us.
Romans 12:2-3
We desire to be a church that seeks to develop our relationship with God, through prayer and inquiry, and how our faith relates to the issues which affect our lives.
Romans 12:4-5
We desire to be a church where everyone is welcome and able to work together, as well as partnering with other organisations and groups.
Romans 12:6-8
We desire to be a church that seeks to share the love of God in attractive, accessible and appropriate ways, showing that faith is relevant for today.
Romans 12:9-21
We desire to be a church that shows the love of God in practical ways, sharing and supporting our life together, in the wider community and the world.
